1. Check out the books

If any of the books sound interesting, this might be the book club for you.

2. Sign up on the homepage

This gives UBC the data we need to get the analog book clubs up and running.

3. Create a user profile

Our forum is only open to members. This is by design and to encourage accountability.

See the bell under FAQ? That's where you build a membership profile.

4. Happy reading!

At the beginning of the month, all users will receive guiding questions to think about before you meet up with your book club. You don't need to adhere to it! It might make the conversation less awkward at first.

How does the online/offline thing work?

Online: We understand that not everyone wants to hang out with strangers in real life. That's why we have the forum, with the same guiding questions as the analog book clubs. Our forum is members only, so you don't have to worry about non-community members reading your insight. We are working on integrating a video chat link for each smaller community.

Offline: At the beginning of the month, we'll send out an email to members in a 10 mile radius of each other with a local meeting spot. The offline option is to promote organic community building throughout the US.

Check out our calendar for upcoming virtual hangouts.

Both: Feel comfortable sharing your reading journey? Post on Twitter and Instagram Stories with #unerased. UBC will keep a tally of all public engagement and we swear, we're working on an rewards model for the free marketing.
